God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Acts: Week 3 – Day 1
For centuries, God had told his people they were special. They had specific cleaning rituals before they worshipped God. They couldn’t eat certain unclean foods. They definitely wouldn’t associate with non-Jews.
So when God was ready to share his gift of life with the entire world, he knew there would be resistance. As a good Jew, Peter would surely find the idea of God choosing gentiles to be distasteful. So God gave Peter a special vision and instruction to prepare Peter for new action even before anyone knocked on the door.
Maybe God has done something significant in your life to prepare you for new action. Ask him today what he might be preparing you for in the future.
