Jesus Gave ThanksSample
When They Did Not Have Enough to Feed the Five Thousand
Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted. John 6:11 (ESV).
In a moment of apparent scarcity, Jesus gave thanks for the little they had. This act of gratitude led to a miraculous multiplication, feeding thousands. Thanksgiving shifts our perspective from lack to abundance, inviting God’s miraculous provision.
When faced with limited resources, do you focus on what you lack or do you give thanks for what you have? How can gratitude change your perception of scarcity?
Prayer: Father God, Please teach me to be thankful for what I have, even when it seems insufficient. I trust that you can multiply my resources and meet all my needs. In Jesus name, Amen.
