Understanding Your Spiritual Identity as a Blessed ManSample
FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH (3)
Today, we will continue with the second position a man can have towards money.
2. Money in your hand can be a tool or you become a slave to it. This tool can be a hindrance if it is not suited to the present situation of life. You need to come to a place in life where you are not chasing money at the expense of God’s purpose. The love of money is equated to being rich at all costs, and the labour to be rich is also equated with the love of money (I Timothy 6:6-12). The love of money is the root of all evil. It is possible for you to love money without having it or to have money without loving it, and you must determine which of these two categories applies to you.
God desires that you come to a place in your heart where you can have things without things having you. God is committed to giving you anything that you can have that will not have you. In 2 Kings 5:21, Gehazi could not wait for what God had for him, he went after money and got leprosy. Thus, if you have anything that God is keeping from you, it is Satan that is giving you. Satan can give you money to keep you away from God. The rich young ruler could not manage his love for riches, so he lost his place with Jesus. Develop the right values and keep money in its proper place.
Prayer: Lord, I will not be a slave to money. Help me to see money as a tool for kingdom purposes. Thank you, Lord.

About this Plan
God does not want His children to live like the fatherless on earth. Instead, He wants you to live like a prince on earth because He is the King of Kings. He wants to teach your hands to profit both physically and spiritually. In this devotional, we will go through practical steps that activate the blessings God has made available for you in Christ Jesus.
