DAY FIVE - BAPTIZE THEM
Summary
After salvation, baptism is a profound way to show one's love and commitment to Jesus by publicly declaring, "Yes, I believe in Jesus, and I want everyone to know it!"
The Believer's Baptism. It requires spiritual maturity to comprehend salvation.
Not Salvation, but Obedience. Baptism comes only after receiving salvation. It symbolizes the death of old habits, cleansing from sin, and rising to a new life in Christ.
Immediate Response to Faith. Baptism should be done soon after someone decides to follow Jesus, showing thanks for His love and grace.
Perfecting Your Faith Journey. Baptism is an act of obedience to fulfilling His Great Commission to spread the Gospel and make disciples.
Talk About It
1) What does baptism symbolize for a believer, and why is it important to publicly declare one's faith through this act?
2) Have you been baptized? Share your experience with the group.
3) Is someone in your group considering baptism? Discuss the decision with them.
Take Action
Reflect on your own baptism and its significance in your faith journey. If you haven't been baptized, explore this step by reaching out to a church leader for more information. If you already have been baptized, find someone who is considering baptism and support them through prayer, discussion, and encouragement as they take this step.
