Core Values - Keys to Visionary LeadershipSample
Default to Integrity
Today, we focus on the foundational principle of integrity. The word "integrity" comes from the Latin word "integer," meaning whole or complete. When we have integrity, we are solid and undivided in our values and actions, just like a well-built structure.
In the business world, integrity is non-negotiable. It forms the core of who we are as leaders and influences how we conduct ourselves in our daily work. Having integrity means being honest, ethical, and consistent in all our dealings, both inside and outside the office.
Integrity also encompasses the quality of grit, which is essential for enduring challenges and staying true to our values, even in difficult times. Just as a building with structural integrity can withstand storms, a leader with integrity and grit can weather any storm that comes their way.
As you go about your day, remember to default to integrity in all your decisions and actions. Let integrity be your guiding light, shaping your choices and interactions with others.
Affirmation:
"I choose to walk in integrity and lead with unwavering honesty and ethics in all aspects of my business and leadership."
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for showing me the importance of integrity in my business and leadership roles. Help me to always default to integrity, to walk securely in your ways, and to lead with honesty and grit. Guide me in making decisions that honor you and benefit those around me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
