Comfort

Scripture in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 reminds us of God's profound compassion and comfort, declaring, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." This passage highlights not only the solace we receive from God in our times of trouble but also our calling to extend that same comfort to others. Through prayer, we seek God's comforting presence in our sorrows, trusting in His tender mercies. As we experience His peace, we become vessels of His compassion, equipped to support those around us who are hurting.

Prayer: Lord, You are the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. Comfort me in my troubles so that I may be able to comfort others with the comfort I have received from You. Help me to feel Your loving presence in times of sorrow. Amen.
