Damage Control: Avoiding Distance From God in Hard SeasonsSample
Stay Rooted
If you had told us a year ago that we would write a devotional on how God restored our friendship, our business, and our faith walk, we would have laughed in your face. Seriously! It all seemed impossible at the time, but we serve a God who specializes in the impossible.
God saw two women who had drifted away from Him and He ran toward us—just like the prodigal son. He met us in our pain, frustration, and broken friendship, and He did a new and beautiful thing in our hearts ad lives that still leaves us speechless.
If you’re in a challenging season in your life, we want to encourage you to cling to God. We can’t promise you that walking with Christ will be without difficulty. But we can promise that if you turn to Him during the hard times, release control, check your heart, seek godly community, and receive His grace, you will find strength for today and hope for tomorrow.
We love you all! Stay rooted.
