GOD CAN MAKE A WAY
There are a lot of ways to look at any situation.
Maybe you’re in the middle of trouble or trials right now, and you feel trapped – like there’s no way out. You’ve been over it a million times in your head, and you can’t find the answer.
Well, that’s one way to look at it - one perspective.
But I have encouraging news for you today – there’s another way to look at it! God’s way. And as you might guess, His way is a way of victory. He sees a way out. He sees you coming out on top of your situation by faith. I like to say it like this: you are one God-perspective away from your answer.
First Corinthians 10:13 says God will never let you down; He’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; He’ll always be there to help you come through it (MSG). Time after time, in the Bible, we read that God made a way where there was no way. He can do the same for you today when you believe Him.
Isaiah 43:16 says God can even make a way through an ocean -- He can make a path through deep water (which is impossible, except for God). That verse is talking about the children of Israel supernaturally escaping slavery in Egypt, only to come face to face with an impossible situation (Exodus 14).
The Israelites endured 400 years of slavery, then witnessed amazing miracles as God convinced the Egyptians to set them free. But immediately, their only escape was blocked by the Red Sea, and the Egyptians bore down on them in chariots. Talk about an impossible situation!
The people were terrified and cried out to Moses, who cried out to God. But God said, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea (Exodus 14:15-16).
That’s a pretty crazy idea. I never would have thought of a sea splitting! But it happened exactly that way. From God’s perspective, it was a slam dunk. No problem. He knows how to deliver His children from impossible situations - you included!
