Brushes in the Hands of the Artist

DAY 3 OF 3

Today, we arrive at the third day of the devotional, focusing on the brushstrokes of love that God desires us to spread throughout the world. Just as a brush distributes the artist's emotions on the canvas, we are called to share God's love and generosity with those around us.

The passage from 1 John 4:7-8 reminds us of the importance of love. Loving one another not only reflects God's nature but also demonstrates that we know and are born of God. Love is central to the painting that God is creating through our lives.

Today, let us reflect on how we can live a life permeated with love and service. By being witnesses of God's unconditional love through our words and actions, we spread the brushstrokes of divine love wherever we are. May we be channels of this love, reflecting God's heart to a world longing for love and compassion. May this day inspire us to be brushes of love in the hands of the Heavenly Artist, contributing to the masterpiece He is painting through us.

Reflection question: How can God's love guide our daily interactions with others? How can we serve and share His love with those around us?

Throughout these three days, we have delved into the powerful allegory of being brushes in the hands of the Great Artist, God. We recognize that He molds and transforms us to fulfill His unique purpose in us and invites us to be agents of transformation in the lives of others.

About this Plan

Brushes in the Hands of the Artist

In this devotional, we will explore the image of being instruments in God's hands to create beautiful work in our lives and in the lives of others. God shapes and transforms like a skilled artist, and over three days, we delve into the Scriptures to understand this role. Divine surrender, grace, and love intertwine in our journey, manifesting God's plan in every aspect of our lives.
