Jesus Makes Me Right With God.

He looked back at me and blinked. I repeated Romans 3:10: No one is righteous, not even one, for by one man’s disobedience, all mankind inherited a sin nature and became separated from God. Mankind and men everywhere sought a way to reconcile with God, but it was futile. Our disobedience (sins) constantly tripped us up. Even the Jews, who had the law of God, couldn’t keep it fully.

But God showed us how to regain right standing with Him. He graced Abraham with faith to trust. He believed in His Word and obeyed him, which enabled God to grant him grace for righteousness. That same grace empowers every believer with faith to believe in Jesus for the gift of righteousness that places us blameless before God. This right standing before God through faith in Jesus grants us a heart-peace that’s like a river of life. The righteousness we are gifted with at salvation grows as we pursue and love Jesus with all our hearts, resulting in a glorious revelation of God and eternal life.
