The Beauty

Why did God make you a warrior? Why did God give you the beauty? Why is this one of the toughest battles in our life? With all of these questions, there is one thing that is absolutely true….nothing can bring a man to life like fighting for the beauty. I’m not talking about fist-fighting to defend her honor, although that has occurred literally millions of times.

What I’m speaking of is battling for the beauty’s heart in the spiritual and emotional realms. Just like you, her heart has been assaulted, she has suffered wounds, and she has likewise believed lies about herself. God gave you a warrior’s heart so you could offer your masculine strength, your masculine heart to help rescue hers.

She desperately needs healing from Jesus, just like you. However, she also needs you to fight for her. When she feels ugly, she needs you to fight and show her just how beautiful she is. When she feels incapable, she needs you to step up and fight to show her how capable she truly is. Realize that for most women, their greatest wounds, their deepest hurts, have come from a man.

When she is being attacked spiritually, she needs you to rise up, step in and pray ferociously for her. Take a warrior’s stand on her behalf in prayer and fight for her heart and spiritual freedom. When scripture states that she is the weaker vessel, that doesn’t mean that she is any less. It means that we as men, as warriors, have an even greater responsibility to fight for and protect her heart.
