My Lighthouse

DAY 4 OF 5

“Very soon Fynn was lost and alone in the dark. Adventure didn’t seem so exciting anymore. He wanted to go home. But he didn’t know his way back in the dark, especially without his map and compass.”

Have you ever felt lost or alone? There are times we can feel that way. We can feel scared at bedtime when it is dark, alone in school sometimes, or even lost when we lose sight of our parents at the store. Even adults experience these feelings from time to time.

But in Isaiah 41:10, God tells us not to be afraid. He is always with us, giving us strength to get through the things we’re finding scary or difficult. God is close and near, shining His light to guide us through hard times.

In my wrestling and in my doubts
In my failures You won't walk out
Your great love will lead me through
You are the peace in my troubled sea

Activity:

Listen to the song My Lighthouse together as a family. Then, grab your Bible and use your favorite drawing supplies to write Isaiah 41:10 on a card. Decorate it and hang it on the wall as a reminder that God is always with you and you are not alone.

Pray:

Thank You, God, for your promises to always be with me and give me strength. Help me remember Your word whenever I feel lost and alone.
