Sit, Walk, Stand - a 40 Day Walk Through of EphesiansSample
Eph 1:13-14
Ephesians 1:13-14
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of His glory.
As Christians, we are living in this tension between “now” and “not yet”. We have salvation. We have access to God. But it’s still limited.
Paul describes our current walk with God like this:
1 Cor 13:12 MSG
We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!
One day we will step through the curtain of time and see God face-to-face. We will know and be known completely.
The Holy Spirit living in us is a taste of what is to come. It’s like a down payment or receipt guaranteeing what is to come. This should not diminish or devalue what we have now, but create an expectation of what is to come.

About this Plan
Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? The Christian walk can make you feel like striving when really everything has been done for you by Jesus, but there is still so much to be done. This is the tension every Christian walks in. The tension between the NOW & the NOT-YET. We are SEATED with Jesus, now WALK IT OUT, so that you may STAND.
