ASK GOD FOR WHAT YOU NEED

Sometimes we need an extra measure of bravery to make it through. Life has a crazy way of throwing curve balls when we least expect it, doesn’t it? And they can leave us scared because we were knocked off balance and everything feels out of control. At the end of the day, it really does matter knowing we’re not standing alone. It helps knowing we have a God who will meet us in our fear. It’s in these moments God’s presence means so much. He’s the One we ask for what we need to navigate the choppy waters ahead. When a hard conversation with someone we love is on the horizon, ask for the courage to be honest. When you’re facing change, ask for fearless faith as you trust Him. When you’re hurting and want to quit, ask God for the confidence to continue.

Prayer: Father, sometimes it’s hard to admit I need Your help because I feel equipped in my own strength. I feel like You made me able to handle anything that comes my way. But I’m learning how much I need Your help, especially in those times where I feel overwhelmed and afraid. What a relief to know I don’t have to have all the answers. Thank You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
