What Was I Made For?Sample

Have you ever played the game “Simon Says?” Maybe you remember it from your childhood. One person tells a group of people something to do, and the rest of the group copies it. In many ways, we tend to live as though we’re in a constant game of “Simon Says.” Rather than living the way we know God created us to live, we try to copy what we see in the world around us. When we allow God to show us how uniquely we’re made to be, that’s when we can become more confident in living as we are. Not as a copy but as the authentic version of the person God made us to be!

Today, memorize this verse. Write it down and put it in your mirror so you’ll see it daily. As you look in the mirror, let the truth remind you that you can live as the real you—the you God made, knows, and loves!
