Are you laboring to keep people from going to the lake of fire?
Old Testament saints will reign with Jesus during the kingdom age (Daniel 12:1-3). Also, Jesus promised the apostles that they would sit upon thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel (Matthew 19:28). Church-age saints are also rewarded with ruling and reigning with Christ during the millennial kingdom (Revelation 2:26-28; 3:21). Moreover, those who are martyred during the Tribulation will do the same (Revelation 20:4). Perhaps all of the above are the ones described as sitting upon thrones (Revelation 20:4). By way of contrast, John depicts a great white throne (Revelation 20:11). All those who stand before the seated Judge will be banished to the lake of fire.
Employment Point: Witness as often as possible to prevent the lost going to the lake of fire, while serving the Lord--anticipating your future millennial kingdom rewards.
