All Who Are Weary: God Is My ComfortSample
I Can Rest in Who God Is
“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” -Psalm 46:10
The Promise: I can rest in who God is.
Slow down. Stop fretting, cease thinking and pulling up the worst-case scenarios. Right now, just be still with the Lord. Don’t try to fight this battle on your own and don’t keep scrambling to keep the fear at bay. Rest in the Lord’s great strength and look to who He is. He is the God who is exalted among the nations and who takes a personal interest in you. Let Him speak the truth He wants you to hear about who He is and who you are to Him.

Try This: Green Thumb
Get a plant. Either one that’s good for indoors or out in a garden. Tend to it. Make sure it has enough sunlight and water. Care for it and help it grow. Taking responsibility for a small plant that will grow can give you something good to focus on. And it’s satisfying when you can see subtle hints of growth from your care.
