God redeems the time

We don’t like to wait. Waiting is painful and frustrating – especially when you feel powerless to achieve the desired outcome. But God has asked us to trust in His perfect timing. On the right day and time, He will fulfil His promises. Ask the Holy Spirit to produce in you the fruit of patience as you abide in Christ and trust your Father.

Prayer

Dear Lord, just like Sarah, visit us as You did her. Let us receive as Sarah received. She bore Abraham a son in his old age at the set time when God spoke to him. We ask for a child at the set time You have appointed to us, oh Ancient of Days. Your Word says that Sarah, past childbearing age, was able to bear children because she considered Him faithful who had made the promise. We trust You to be faithful above all of our own personal barriers. Amen.
