Lift OffSample

Want an easy-to-remember way to read and study the Bible? No matter which passage of Scripture you're reading, ask yourself these three questions: "What?" "So What?" "Now What?" We'll show you how!
WHAT? What is this passage about?
Today we read from the book of Proverbs—a bunch of short, wise sayings that help us know how to live. What do these verses tell us about the importance of having godly relationships?
SO WHAT? Why does it matter?
- What kind of issues do you face that could be helped by having the right kind of friends?
- Why do you think God cares if we have godly relationships or not?
NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?
- Has a friend ever given you bad advice or encouraged you to do the wrong thing? What happened?
- What should we do when someone we care about is struggling or isn't being a great influence?
- Who's someone you think would be a godly friend? What's a step you can take to get to know them better?
