WHY ARE WE OBSESSED WITH THE RAPTURE?

DAY THIRTY OF THIRTY ONE

Everywhere you turn, you see someone revealing that they discovered when the Rapture will happen. They did the math, and they are the ones that God told His secret to. Could this be possible? No. Jesus Himself doesn’t even know when it will happen, let alone one of us.

Part of the reason why the book of Revelation was written is so that we would know when we’re entering into the end times, and so that we are aware of the deception the enemy is planning to accomplish. Instead of using this as a tool, many people take it as a challenge to find out when we’ll be caught up in the cloud with Jesus.

This usually causes panic and hysteria among those who believe it.

The enemy many times uses things like this to have us run around like chickens with our heads cut off and miss the point of why God has written prophetic events in His Word.

Why is it human nature to get to the bottom of these mysteries? Because knowing every detail and trying to prepare for it is easier in our minds than having to rely on God for day to day instructions and being prepared at any time to do what He needs us to do.

Prayer: Pray and ask God to reveal to you if you’ve been distracted by anything going on in the media or even in the Body of Christ. Ask for His help in staying focused on what needs your immediate attention so that you don’t get swept up in any massive confusion.
