WHY IS LOVE SO IMPORTANT?

DAY TWO OF THIRTY ONE

This is the passage L’amour in Christ was founded on when God put this ministry in my spirit back in 2016. Love is the foundation of our Christian walk because God is Love. Walking in love is how we worship and serve our Creator.

If we say “good things” and do “good things” without love, it’s an empty act. Imagine praying or singing to God, but your motivation isn’t rooted in love. All God hears is noise. Imagine making kind gestures or giving everything you own away just so that you can look holy to other people. All God sees is you wasting your time.

If we are created to serve and worship God, anything we do outside of Him is outside of our Purpose.

Let us be intentional by prioritizing love for God and love for others over everything else. In this way, we honor God and fulfill the Calling He’s given us.

Prayer: Ask God to show you how to love others with a pure heart. Pray that He reveals to you how you can serve Him and other people better. If dysfunctional love is all you’ve ever known, pray for healing in your heart so that you are able to love freely and accept genuine love freely without any walls that you have built up over time.
