GOD WANTS TO BLESS YOU

DAY EIGHTEEN OF THIRTY ONE

If you go back and read the entire chapter of Matthew 6, you’ll see that it describes the many things we worry about. That used to be me. Where’s the money, God? Where are groceries coming from this week?

I lived in a constant whirlwind of how me and my husband would get by from month to month. It wasn’t until we laid everything down and said “God have Your Way because what we’re doing isn’t working” that we saw any real change.

From that point on The Lord reminded me to focus on seeking His Kingdom and His Righteousness in order to receive His Provision. It wasn’t fun seeing Him rebuild our lives and get rid of anything that didn’t serve His Purpose.

As me and my husband intentionally deepened our walk with God, not only did He always provide for our needs, but He also started whispering to us about the great Vision He had for our future.

Years ago, I would have been relieved to just get by, but now God was promising to go above and beyond my wildest dreams.

Prayer: If you’re struggling and worrying about day-to-day things, I encourage you to stop and ask God if there’s anything you’re doing that’s preventing Him from working in your life to the fullest extent. Pray that He’ll direct you in how to start over in your walk with Him if that’s necessary.
