Want an easy-to-remember way to read and study the Bible? No matter which passage of Scripture you're reading, ask yourself these three questions: "What?" "So What?" "Now What?" We'll show you how!
WHAT? What is this passage about?
We've been talking this week about the Holy Spirit's leading. What does this passage tell us about the source of the Holy Spirit?
SO WHAT? Why does it matter?
- Why do you think it was important for Jesus to appear to his followers after the resurrection?
- What kind of emotions do you think were present in the room when Jesus appeared? How do some of those reflect your current situation?
NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?
- Have you ever experienced peace in your own life because of Jesus' presence? What was that like?
- How does Jesus' gift of the Holy Spirit change how you view your relationships with others?
- Do you feel like you have a goal God has given you? What is it? How can you align it with the guidance of the Holy Spirit for a more fulfilling journey?
