Proverbs Wisdom: Trust in the LordSample
Move—and He Will Bless You!
You know how you sometimes have that snack craving between meals? You stand in front of the refrigerator, stare into it, and wonder how you ended up there so quickly? Haha.
These days, I just haven’t found the time to go grocery shopping. I’ve been so busy. So, there I was in front of the refrigerator, looking into an empty void. And honestly, it had been like that the whole week. But somehow, I have always been satisfied before.
My parents had stayed overnight and brought food. And the next day, I was out and got invited for a meal! Oh, then there was my friend's birthday brunch. I was wonderfully satisfied then too! And once the doorbell rang, and a friend brought me delicious sushi, just because.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized that—without having to worry—I always had more than enough! Yes, without having anything visible in my refrigerator!
As I am currently on the move so much and don't find time to do everyday things like grocery shopping, I notice how God is also taking care of me in this area. And He wants to encourage you today too:
When you give God your life, He wants to give you what you need for life!
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. In all your ways obey him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Have respect for the LORD and avoid evil." (Proverbs 3:5-7 NIRV).
Maybe you are currently staring into emptiness in your life too. Perhaps it's not the refrigerator but your dreams. Or something you thought you needed that has disappeared.
May I encourage you nonetheless to set out on the journey? Our verses say: "In all your ways obey him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight."
That means you have to move to experience this new blessing!
And believe me, God wants to fill your emptiness, just like He did unexpectedly for me!
You are a miracle!
