The Jesus Mark Wants You to Know - 28 Days to Become More Intimate With JesusSample

Day - 17 Mark 10: 1-34
Uncompromising Truths
Jesus is constantly confronted with those who want to take “shortcuts” in their discipleship or want to do a “workaround” for an easier way.
He allowed no excuses for those who treated divorce casually.
He elevated the importance of children and used their simplicity as a model for having faith.
He required complete surrender of relationships, possessions, and positions in order to be His follower.
He stood firm in His mission of messiahship knowing it would cost His life.
These are the uncompromising truths that Jesus lived by and requires of His followers.
Do you have these same convictions or do you make excuses and find ways to compromise? Is your faith “childlike?” Have you truly surrendered every aspect of your life to Jesus? Are you willing to pay the cost for being His disciple?
