Distance for Warfare: Growing Closer to GodSample

Distance for Warfare: Growing Closer to God

DAY 7 OF 7

THERE SHALL BE GLORY AFTER THIS

Glory is defined as praise, honor, and the manifestation of God’s presence bestowed on those who have faith in Him.

The glory of God can not be revealed until we humble ourselves, pray to our Father, who is in Heaven, and turn from the ways of the world that keep us bound to the repercussions of our sins.

When the glory of God is upon you, a transformative experience will take place that can bring deliverance and restoration to your life. God wants to pour out his glory to us all.

Often, we fall into the world's mediocrity, believing we can live for God only when we want to, but we must recognize that supernatural glory cannot be revealed unless God pours it out.

God will not pour out his glory on us who have allowed the pleasantness sin brings on our flesh to overpower the grace of God that is trying to take root in our lives.

Now is the time for us to rise and throw away every habit that is keeping us addicted to sin and leading us to death so that we can accept the free gift of eternal life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23). The opportunity to experience the glory of God was made possible in the highest form when the glory of God was revealed to his son Jesus. After Jesus died on the Cross, he was placed in a tomb as a form of burial, but Jesus told his disciples in Mark 8 that He would suffer and be killed but would be risen from the dead. Some of Jesus's disciples who saw the miraculous miracles He performed doubted Him being able to be raised from the dead, but God’s glory was still revealed. We know this because when the women went to the tomb, the angels appeared to them and stated, “He isn’t here, but has been raised” (Luke 24:6).

The glory of God was revealed to Jesus after the suffering He was destined to experience. Although we will experience many forms of suffering in this life, we must stand strong on God’s truths and believe that there shall be eternal glory after our lives are over!

Prayer: God, please reveal your glory to me as I journey throughout my life so that I will be reminded of how my distance from you determines my ability to win my spiritual war.
