Live Wisely – Guard Your Heart and Mind

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. …Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. … Listen, my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path. …He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.

What comes out of a man is what makes him ‘unclean.’ For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. … Repent!
