We are Redeemed - 3

Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts.

Defend my cause and redeem me; preserve my life according to your promise.

“I will deliver them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction?”

Into your hands I commit my spirit; redeem me, Lord, my faithful God.

But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself.

Rise up and help us; redeem us because of your unfailing love.

Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you—I, whom you have redeemed.

The Lord has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.’” They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted.
