What the Bible Says About...Sample
The New Heart – 3
My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king …
A heart at peace gives life to the body … Wisdom reposes in the heart of the discerning.
May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.
The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. Good people bring good things out of the good stored up in them …
Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? Those who have clean hands and a pure heart …
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
