How to Have a Good Day – Be Patient
As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
A person’s wisdom yields patience … and patience is better than pride.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Live a life worthy of the Lord … being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience … therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.
Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything … And we urge you, brothers and sisters … be patient with everyone … love is patient …
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
