What the Bible Says About...Sample

The Fruit of the Spirit is … Kindness - 1
Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves.
Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.
May the Lord show you kindness, as you have shown kindness …
Show to me and the country where you now reside as a foreigner the same kindness I have shown to you.
The foreigners residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.
Anyone who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
It is a sin to despise one’s neighbor, but blessed are those who are kind to the needy.
Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
Those who are kind to the poor lend to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.
Whoever increases wealth by taking interest or profit from the poor amasses it for another, who will be kind to the poor.
Renounce your sins by doing what is right, and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed. It may be that then your prosperity will continue.
