Perfect Redemption: Easter Devotional for KidsSample
The Great Commission
Does the color green remind you of anything that grows? Yes, it does remind us of plants. When a seed is planted, we give it all that it needs to grow which includes water, sunlight, trimming and lots of love and care, then it blossoms into a beautiful plant. As God’s children, we must plant the seed of the word of God in others by telling them about Jesus. and be obedient to his command in Matthew 28:19
Telling others about Jesus doesn’t have to be difficult. We can say something as simple as, “Let me tell you about my friend Jesus and what He did for me.”
Sometimes it may seem scary to tell others about Jesus, but we have the Holy Spirit with us to guide us as we speak. Our actions also allow others to “see” Jesus in us and when we live in a way that is pleasing to God, others will take notice and do the same. When we do this we are evangelizing - which means spreading the good news of the gospel by telling others.
Memory verse
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Matt 28:19
Word of the day
Witness
- to show or prove that something is true
Say and Pray
I choose today to honor God by obeying His command to plant the seed of His word in others
