How Holy Spirit Mobilizes YOUR Daily Mission

DAY 2 OF 3

He Reminds.

Not knowing what to say is a common occurrence in conversations. Guess what? You never need to worry about this when you obey the Holy Spirit’s promptings to meet someone to converse the Good News of Jesus with them. Why? The Holy Spirit empowers you and prompts you to talk among your spheres of influence about Jesus. When you invite the Holy Spirit into your missional life, sharing Jesus does not depend on your ability but on His power. As the Apostle Paul explains well, "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power" (1 Corinthians 2:4). He also reminds you of the Bible scripture that encourages the person you’re conversing with and that they desperately need to hear. “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you” (‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭26‬).

‬Please notice the word, “remind”. How can the Holy Spirit re-mind you if God’s Word is not in your mind in the first place? Over time in your daily quiet time, God is not only filling you up with His Living Word but also His Words that you will converse to others about Jesus! Who are you going to have a conversation with among your existing spheres of influence, by relying on the Holy Spirit to remind you of truths from the Bible that the person you're talking with desperately needs?

About this Plan

How Holy Spirit Mobilizes YOUR Daily Mission

The Holy Spirit is a “He” not an “it”. The phone you’re holding or laptop you are at right now is an “it”. The Holy Spirit is God and He is ALIVE! The Holy Spirit longs to have a relationship with you. He plays a major role with you in your missional life, your mission to share the Good New of Jesus among your daily existing spheres of influence.
