What Jesus Said About Our Calling to Be Disciple-MakersSample

Jesus sent us to dark places
Why did Jesus come? He came to tell us about the kingdom of God. He came to preach the good news of salvation, to heal people, drive out demons, raise the dead, reveal the Father to us, reach out to the broken-hearted and those in prison, take care of the needy and those living in poverty, and all kinds of brokenness and pain.
Where are we going to find these people? In the dark places. We find these people among the "wolves," places where Christians are unwelcome and where they will be persecuted. Jesus is sending us to the dark places.
Read Matthew 10:16. Jesus said: Behold, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves.
Luke 10:3 Jesus said – Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.
About this Plan

God is calling all of us to be disciple-makers. But He also has a specific calling for all of us - a specific place in the church or the world where we must live out our calling.
