We invite you to watch the video above, then consider the questions below.
1. Michael talked about what we’re up against and what’s against us: the flesh (our false self), a very real enemy (Satan) and the fallen world in which we live. Ask yourself: which of these are new to me and what sort of threat they pose?
2. It is such a relief to know that it’s NOT just me! Thank You, God, for revealing what I’m up against! Ask God: Jesus, show me how this knowledge can begin to change my perception of myself and/or the world around me.
3. Blake described how in the past he made the agreements that no one wanted him, that he wasn’t enough and how he had spent so much time trying to earn that love. He goes on to describe how he was not only trying to earn the love and approval of his friends but also God’s love and approval. Father, how have I seen this happen in my own life? In my relationship with You (God) and with others?
