What Jesus Said About Money and ProvisionSample

God and Mammon (Money)
Read Matthew 6:24 - Jesus said: No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
There are 2,084 verses in the Bible dealing with money and finance. Sixteen of Jesus' thirty-eight parables deal with money. Too often, our actions are motivated by how we think about money. For many, money becomes their security and not God.
Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what role money plays in your life. If the way you think about money is not in line with what Jesus says about money, or if you trust money to be your security instead of God, then your heart is filled with greed. You have to repent from your greed, renounce those thoughts, and ask the Holy Spirit to change your heart.
Greed is idolatry: Put to death, therefore, the components of your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry (Colossians 3:5)
