I Won’t Hold Back

Hi God. Sometimes when I start to ask you for stuff…I chicken out!

I feel like I might be bothering you with trivial things. After all, you probably have a lot more important things to do. You might look at my requests and think they were, well, dumb. 

I feel like I should be deserving of what I ask for. So, I don’t ask because I know what I’ve done and what I feel like I deserve. 

I guess I feel like some things I ask for are selfish. But, over and over, your Word tells me to ask you for things. 

“Ask, and it will be given to you;” Matthew 7:7 

“Yet you do not have because you do not ask.” James 4:2

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7

I know I’ve been holding back, but not anymore. Not today. 

Today I’m going to have audacious faith— bold faith! Believe-God-is-bigger-than-I-can-even-imagine faith!!!
