Nothing Can SeparateSample
HOW TO BE BRAVE
Rest In Your Freedom
“For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear...” (Rom. 8:15a). Before, we explored the liberating truth that Jesus' profound act of love on the cross has set us free from the grip of condemnation, sin and death. Resting in this reality floods our minds with peace, allowing us to confidently navigate intimidating situations.
Run To Your Father
“...you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God” (Rom. 8:15b-16). By placing our faith in Jesus, we become part of God's family, with the heavenly Father now being our own. Regardless of the challenges we encounter, we can confidently turn to our Father, who holds the entire world in His hands!
Remember Your Future
“...provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him” (Rom. 8:17b). As Christians, no matter what we face in this broken world, we can anticipate a remarkable future after death, spending eternity in the presence of God!
Big Idea
Because of God’s incredible love, we can be brave by resting in freedom, running to our Father and remembering the future we will enjoy in His presence!
LET’S THINK ABOUT THIS
Question #1: What is one thing that “jumped out” to you while reading Romans 8:15-17?
Question #2: Which of the three components of being brave (rest in your freedom, run to your Father and remember your future) resonated the most with you?
Question #3: Is there an area of your life right now that is making you fearful? How can God’s love strengthen you in this season?

About this Plan
In the “Nothing Can Separate” study, we’re going to take a closer look at Romans chapter 8 and discover how God’s love sets us free, makes us brave, gives us hope and never leaves our side.
