Did you know that you are in a spiritual battle every day? The world is constantly telling us lies and trying to distract us from doing good. But God has given us a harbor of protection from these attacks—truth. As you read your Bible and pray, take the time to sit quietly and listen for an answer after asking God to show you His truth. Imagine the layers of protection being built up and wrapped around you as you surround yourself with God’s Word and spend time in His presence.
Pray
Heavenly Father, thank you for only speaking truth and never speaking lies. You have given me your Word and your Son so that I can trust in you and grow in your truth. Please show me any areas where I need to grow, and give me the courage to make bold choices even when I am tempted. Help me to know your truth and to live it out every single day with your help. Amen.
