You Are Redeemed

The word redemption simply means the action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment or clearing of a debt. Can I tell you that Jesus took the payment for your sin, and nailed it to the cross (Colossians 2:14). So your sin was a debt that was cleared by the shed blood of Jesus, and in exchange Jesus has given you a clean slate. How amazing is it to know that you have a clean slate? In the eyes of God, your sins are wiped clean and now you can move forward into the Kingdom of light!

It’s not a matter of who you are, but whose you are. You are no longer in the Kingdom of darkness, but you have been converted into the Kingdom of the Son! The blood of Jesus is stronger and more powerful than your past. You can now walk in total freedom from bondage because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Pick up your head today and know that nothing can take your redemption away from you. The enemy AKA the deceiver, can try and tell you that you still owe a debt, but Jesus says you are free! Walk in that freedom today!

Prayer for today:

“Lord, I thank you that I am free in You. I thank You for transferring me from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of light. Thank You for shedding Your precious blood on the cross for me to have a clean slate! In the name of Jesus, I receive total freedom from any bondages and strongholds that have been trying to bring me down and keep me from my future. I declare that I am free in the name of Jesus, amen”
