Love Is a Verb!

DAY 3 OF 5

In our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in conflicts and disagreements. You may feel the need to defend yourself or prove your point. However, these verses are reminders of the power of love to cover all wrongs. Love can calm anger, heal broken relationships, and bring peace.

As Christians, we are to love one another, even in disagreements. This love is not just a mere emotion but an action. You must actively choose to show love towards others. This doesn't mean that you should avoid addressing issues or speaking the truth in love, but it does mean that you choose your words carefully and seek to reconcile rather than stirring up conflict. Love goes beyond our differences and flaws and covers our mistakes and shortcomings.

Love is powerful and can conquer even the darkest of sins. This love reflects the unconditional love that God has for you. It was because of His great love for you that Jesus died for your sins.

But why is this so important? Well, love has the power to heal and bring restoration. It allows you to forgive and overlook each other's mistakes, just as God has done for you.

As you go about your day, remember to love one another deeply. Choose to forgive and extend grace to those who have wronged you. God's love is unconditional, and you must share that love with others.

Think It Over!

Do you struggle with this kind of love?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Thank you for your love that heals, restores and covers my wrongs. Let Your love be the force that unites, heals, and allows me to overcome wrongs with compassion and kindness. In Jesus name, Amen
