How to Cultivate Faith and Financial Focus

DAY 2 OF 3

On day two, we’ll turn our attention to Faith Focus.

As we learned on day one, focus means having clear visual definition. Without being too literal, let’s say that we are focused when we can see plainly where we are headed and why. Now that we have a general understanding of focus and how to apply it in 2024, let’s get specific.

What does Focus in Faith look like? Let me tell you, it goes beyond going to church on Christmas and Easter Sunday, although that’s not a bad place to start.

Here’s the thing, a relationship with God is not something that simply happens by accident. He wants us to prioritize Him in our lives, to make time for Him and to seek Him actively.

Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ - Matthew 22:37

Before we end today’s reading, take a moment to reflect on these questions.

  • How can I feel closer to God?
  • Do I make my relationship with the Father a priority in my life?
  • What distractions do I need to eliminate in order to focus on my faith journey this year?

If you’re having trouble answering any of the questions, I challenge you to take a little as five minutes to sit in silence, without distractions and listen. Focus on your breathing, tune out any distractions and let God speak to you.

Show up consistently for the Father that has never and will never fail you.

On day three, we’ll focus on financial focus to wrap up this three-day plan.
