What Jesus Said About Assurance of SalvationSample

We can be sure of our salvation because Jesus died on the cross and rose from death.
Read the Scripture passage prayerfully and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you.
He has no need… to offer sacrifices for his own sins and then for those of the people since he did this once and for all when he offered up himself (Hebrews 7:27).
For the death he died, he died to sin, once for all (Romans 6:10).
The New Testament teaches that the blood of animals cannot wash away our sins. Only the sacrifice of another human being is valid to pay for our sins because sin, in the eyes of God, is punishable by death. All humans are sinners. One sinner cannot pay the penalty for another person's sin. Everyone has to pay the penalty for their own sins. But when Jesus came as a human being, He lived a sinless life and could therefore pay the penalty for our sins. After Jesus died, no other sacrifice was necessary to pay for our sins.
