Men Ought Always to PraySample
Men Ought Always To Pray.
”And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;“ Luke 18:1 KJV
Fear not. Pray and ask God. Ask God for direction. Ask God for Wisdom. Ask Him for insight. Ask Him for clarity. When adversity comes—pray. When the winds and waves come—pray. When tests and trials come—pray. Before the tests come—pray. Before the trials come—pray.
The Amplified Version puts it this way, “ALSO [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).“ Luke 18:1 AMPC. Never lose heart. Never faint. Never give up. Faint not.
”One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.“ Luke 18:1 NLT. For the Lord, our God, is with you. For the Lord, your God, is for you.
If you feel like throwing in the towel—don’t give up. If you feel like giving up—don’t surrender. For there are more for you than there are against you. For Deuteronomy 32:30 KJV declares, ”How should one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Except their Rock had sold them, And the LORD had shut them up?“
For the Lord has given you authority to put your enemy to flight. Anything that comes up against you—God has given you power to overthrow the hand of the enemy. For the hand of the enemy is not stronger than the hand of God.
”How could one person chase a thousand of them, and two people put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, unless the Lord had given them up?“ Deuteronomy 32:30 NLT. Don’t let the enemy deceive you—for God's way is greater than the way of the world.
For God is greater than any obstacle that you may face. Choose to pray. Choose to never give up. Choose to never give in. Quitting is a choice. Standing is a posture. Posture your heart. Surrender your heart to God. Men should always pray.
