WHEN THERE IS A CLASH IN LEADERSHIP, WHO DO YOU GO WITH?

In situations where there is a clash of leaders, the guidance is clear: always follow the higher leader. Your recreated human spirit is higher than your mind but not higher than the Holy Spirit within you. You will discern the still small voice of your recreated human spirit and the authoritative voice of the Holy Spirit. However, the recreated human spirit is not higher than the Holy Spirit.

Similarly, the Holy Spirit within you is not higher than the anointing on the anointed. When faced with a choice between the written word of God and a current direction, prioritize the higher leader. The written word of God holds supremacy over any current guidance.

When dealing with a matter and you possess the word of God, let it be the guiding force. If your heart lacks clear direction, consult what God has said on the matter. The primary relationship between us and the Holy Spirit is one of leadership. Although many perceive the pastor's role as primarily feeding the flock, leadership takes precedence; you cannot feed a sheep that does not follow to the pasture.

In instances of conflicting leadership where uncertainty persists about your spirit's guidance, turn to the Holy Spirit. If uncertain about accessing guidance from the Holy Spirit, seek counsel from the Anointed. God has established a hierarchy of divine leaders for His people, and understanding this hierarchy is crucial. When following a prophecy, ensure it aligns with the Bible; God won't convey anything contrary to the Bible, even if revealed in a dream—the Bible stands as the higher leader.

PRAYER: Lord, your word says as many as are led by the Spirit they are the sons of God. Holy Spirit, I am leadable, lead me in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
