God is the Solution
- Pastor Morena Castro
“The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”— Proverbs 18:10 (NIV)
Life is full of problems that can make us feel afraid and uncertain. But always remember: no matter the obstacles or difficulties you face today, God is the solution for all of them. What comforting words! Thinking that we have God's company and help in our most difficult moments does make a difference. King Solomon told us that we can go to Him when the battle is most brutal and hide in the protection of His name.
“The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”
These words remind us that God is always at our side, ready to give us rest, strength, and guidance. When you feel overwhelmed by life's problems, pray to God and hide in the tower of His name. Talk to Him like you would with a friend, and He will listen to your concerns. Remember that God is the creator of the universe, and nothing is beyond His power.
Also, remember that problems can be opportunities in disguise. God can use your difficulties to teach, strengthen, and shape you in ways you never imagined. Trust His plan for your life. He is by your side.
Don't be afraid of problems. Remember that God is the solution. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in difficulties.
Make a Difference:
Focus on the positive. Instead of focusing on fear, focus on the good things that are happening in your life. Thank God for the good stuff, and look for ways to increase the good in your life.
As You Read:
In Deuteronomy, we see the assurances that God is the solution to all our problems. When overwhelmed, turning to God in prayer allows us to find rest, strength, and guidance. Every obstacle can serve as an opportunity for growth, shaped by God's plan for our lives, both for the nation of Israel and us.

About this Plan
We all want to make an impact on the lives of people around us. We want our lives to make a difference in our friends, family, co-workers, neighborhoods, and cities. This is done through the transformative work of Jesus Christ. The Pastors of Peoples Church hope that our weekly devotionals provide insights, reflections, and thought-provoking questions and challenges as we go on this chronological journey through the Bible.
