Love God Greatly - Sold OutSample

Peter was the first disciple to make the confession of Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the Son of God. This initial confession of faith made by Peter, and eventually by the other disciples, would be the foundation of the church. The disciples were not biblical scholars or religious leaders, but their faith and authority from Jesus established them as leaders of the early church.
How might you be doubting or questioning your call to serve in God’s kingdom? Our holy God calls ordinary people to be part of His extraordinary work. God is infinitely greater than any task He assigns, and He remains eternally faithful to those who trust and obey Him.
Father God, I thank You for using and equipping me to faithfully serve and bless Your people. Lord, help me to focus on Your abundance more than I focus on my deficiencies. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan

Many can name the cast of their favorite TV show or the full roster of their favorite team. But few Christians know the names of all twelve of Jesus’s disciples. These are the twelve men Jesus chose to become his closest companions and ministers during his three-year ministry. And these are the twelve men whose lives we will be studying! As we study, look not only at the various experiences these men had and how this close encounter with Jesus changed them, but how you can be changed as well.
