Love God Greatly - Sold OutSample

When faced with a hungry crowd of thousands, Jesus tested Philip by asking him where they would get bread for all the people. Philip had a logical mind and quickly calculated the cost of the bread. Although Philip’s assessment of the size of the problem was accurate, his assessment of the supernatural power of Jesus was not.
In what circumstance are you allowing the size of your problem to overshadow God’s power and sovereignty over it? Because God is sovereign over our lives and our destinies, we can trust Him with our less than perfect circumstances.
Father God, help me to magnify You higher than any problem I encounter. Help me to glorify You in my less than perfect circumstances. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan

Many can name the cast of their favorite TV show or the full roster of their favorite team. But few Christians know the names of all twelve of Jesus’s disciples. These are the twelve men Jesus chose to become his closest companions and ministers during his three-year ministry. And these are the twelve men whose lives we will be studying! As we study, look not only at the various experiences these men had and how this close encounter with Jesus changed them, but how you can be changed as well.
