21 Day Favor FastSample

DAY 12: WISDOM
Prayer Topic: Seek God's wisdom in decision-making.
Devotional: Wisdom is a precious gift from God. Wisdom is a gift from God that gives the ability to know how to make decisions that are in alignment with God's will. In James 1:5 (NIV), we're encouraged to seek wisdom, and it says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
Every day and every year come with new opportunities, new challenges and new decisions. Either we can make decisions by flying by the seat of our pants or go before God and ask to be filled with wisdom. During this fast, seek God's wisdom in your decision-making. Recognize that wisdom isn't merely knowledge but the ability to apply knowledge with discernment and righteousness.
Quote: "Wisdom is the ability to see and the inclination to choose the best and highest goal, together with the surest means of attaining it." – J.I. Packer
Reflection 1: Reflect on decisions you're currently facing. How can seeking God's wisdom influence your choices?
Reflection 2: Consider moments in your life when God's wisdom guided you to make a significant decision. How can you rely on His wisdom throughout this fast?
