Peace
Look Back
Take a moment to take a deep breath.
Before diving into this allow yourself and your heart to be in the presence of God.
Sit in silence and acknowledge that God (His Spirit) is present with you.
Take a moment to give your week and worries to him.
Take a moment to pray.
Look Up
Read through this passage (Do it twice):
"A voice of one calling: 'In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.'" - Isaiah 40:3-5
Questions for personal reflection:
- What did you like most about this passage?
- What was hard or challenging about this passage?
- How do you see God in this passage?
- How do you see people in this passage?
Look Forward
Now take a moment to breathe and pause. To seek the Father and answer the question of how God is calling you to live out this passage and be obedient to Him. And then pray.
